PRODUCT 01
SOLAR PANELS
Energy from sunlight absorbed by the PV cell usually made from a semiconductor material such as silicon. When this material is exposed to photons energies from sunlight, it releases electrons and creates an electrical charge. This electric charge creates an internal electrical field in the cell causing direct electric currant to flow.

PRODUCT 02
WATER HEATERS
The solar water heater is an integrated part of the solar system that relies on the sun’s energy to heat a water tank. Solar water heaters could be used for home appliances such as hot showers and swimming pool heater. It also serves for commercial projects as well.
BENEFITS

DISADVANTAGES

- Dependent on the climate conditions to operate. However, you don’t always need the sun as systems usually always include a back-up electric heater to operate when the weather conditions are dark or cloudy.
PRODUCT 03
WATER PUMPS
Depending on the specific model and conditions, Solar powered water pumps can lift water from hundreds of meters below the ground up to 300m and can be used to irrigate your farm at ease.
BENEFITS
- Solar pumps require less labour and maintenance.
- Solar water pumps are powered by solar panels. All the energy you need comes from the sun which is completely free.
- Using free solar energy is an advantage over manual irrigation which takes up a lot of your valuable energy and time.
DISADVANTAGES
Solar water pumps heavily rely on sunlight to work. Therefore, when weather conditions are not suitable such as cloudy weather or night time there isn’t much sunlight for the solar water pump to work.
This Disadvantage could however be reduced by installing a water tank. During the sunniest parts of the day, use your solar pump to pump water to your tank. You will then have water available via gravity feed whenever you need to irrigate your crops during bad weather conditions where your solar water pump won’t be operating well.
PRODUCT 04
SOLAR INVERTERS
A solar power inverter converts direct current (DC) generated from photovoltaic solar panels into alternating current (AC) which could be used to power home appliances which mostly operate on AC or could be fed back to the electricity grid.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- The main task of a solar power inverter is to convert direct current into an alternating current.
- In winter, when solar energy is insufficient, an alternating current generator is used to charge solar energy batteries through an inverter charger, as solar energy may not be enough.

SOLAR BATTERIES
Flow Batteries
These batteries are products of innovative tech, recently developed. They have a lifespan of about twenty years and can be used for different solar powered systems.
Saltwater Batteries
Saltwater batteries are an emerging solar battery type that utilizes a non-toxic electrolyte solution. Environmentally friendly alternative to traditional batteries with 5000 cycles thus longer life span and are less likely to degrade quickly.
Lead-Acid Batteries
Lead-acid batteries are a more traditional solar battery type commonly found in off-grid solar systems. While they have been around for quite some time, they are less efficient and require more maintenance than most solar batteries.
Lithium-Ion Batteries
Lithium-ion solar batteries are currently the most popular choice for solar energy storage systems. They have a higher energy density, so they can store more energy in less space, making them an ideal choice for your solar battery needs.
